Senior Tax Manager

We are seeking someone with initiative, an entrepreneurial spirit, a history of results, and excellent people skills to manage and train a growing team of tax professionals located in Torrance, California. Travel to clients within the Los Angeles area will be required (primarily Westside, Downtown and South Bay). Little or no travel will be required outside the Los Angeles metropolitan area.

A successful candidate must demonstrate that they can perform the following:

Lead teams of tax professionals working on multiple, complex projects for large companies. Projects may include:

Tax provision for public and large private corporations.
U.S. consolidated corporation and multi-state returns.
Various flow-through returns.
Tax research and consulting.
Other special projects, such as fixed asset analysis, interest capitalization, basis studies, real estate and corporate transaction planning.
Assist in the recruiting, training and mentoring of tax professionals.
Participate in the practice development efforts of the firm.
Provide excellent client service.
Work with management on strategic planning, and the continual improvement and growth of the business.

Qualifications

A Minimum of seven (7) years of experience, and/or a proven history of success in the field.
Relevant and up-to-date education and professional qualifications.

Compensation & Benefits

$100,000 to $180,000.00 (depending on qualifications and history of success),
