Richard Welling is the Managing Partner of Richard Welling & Co., LLP. The firm focuses on providing value-added tax services to businesses, as well as their owners and executives. He founded the firm in 1988 after working as a tax manager at a "Big Five" firm.

Richard has served as Treasurer and CFO for various non-profit organizations. He currently serves as Treasurer of Cornerstone Christian Center and is on the Professional Advisory Committee of Torrance Memorial Medical Center. He is a Vistage Chief Executive member and Expert Speaker, and a Chair Elect for the Torrance Chamber of Commerce Professional Roundtable of Financial Services.

Richard provides tax consulting services to companies in various industries including real estate, investment, and financial, oil and gas, manufacturing, health care, technology, entertainment, and other service businesses. He has extensive experience and knowledge in providing services to businesses with international and multi-state tax needs. He also regularly consults with high-net worth individuals.

Richard holds bachelor’s degrees from California State University Long Beach in Accounting and Finance. He has also completed extensive graduate work in Taxation, and regularly speaks on various Taxation topics. Richard is a CPA and a member of the AICPA and CALCPA.
